THE PROJECT
About WILDLIFE FRUITS
WILDLIFE FRUITS is a small non-profit association run by two nature lovers dedicated to saving wildlife and protecting nature.
Our organizational structure is very lean and all our efforts and your financial and administrative support go straight into practical work.
Our team

When he explored scuba diving he found his passion for ocean and nature conservation. With a former colleague, he produced an award-winning short documentary about a whale rescue in Costa Rica.
He is a certified permaculture designer and he loves to grow seeds, dig holes, plant trees, and take care of them.

In 2020, she set up a digital network for wildlife rescue centers in Costa Rica. Confronted with the negative impact of defragmentation of wildlife habitats, she realized that creating biological corridors, even on a small scale, makes a huge difference in supporting wildlife and enhancing biodiversity.
After planting over 200 trees in the South Pacific area, she joined WILDLIFE FRUITS as an administrative and creative support to the project.
Els is helping nature lovers with free travel advice about Costa Rica. Her blog underthetrees.be is in Dutch (but automatically translates with Google Chrome).

Our history
Website launched
On a visit to Salzburg we met our friends from interact!multimedia. This Austrian web agency we have been connected with since 1996, spontaneously agreed to support our project with this website.
Collaboration with “Project AUTT”
Moving to Tierra Madre
The project moves to Tierra Madre in northern Costa Rica. This initiative has been successfully working for several years to reforest its 60-hectare area and expand an existing wildlife corridor between the Pacific, the border with Nicaragua, and the neighboring province.
Organisation founded
First reforestation projects
Between 2018 and 2022, the team planted more than 500 trees in the South Pacific region of Costa Rica.
